Summer learning journey.

Today we were exploring and colouring pictures from the summer learning journey website. I found that finding the right colours for the pictures was a bit hard but luckily I found the right colours.  I found it easy choosing the pictures. Next time I would like a bit more of a selection of pictures. I would really like to do it again.

Go green!!

 

Green team!! by mila b

Today we went and saw a play made by the green  team. It was really fun to watch and it taught us ways we can help the planet and the four R's. I hope we get to see another performance from the green team soon.

different energy

 

Today we were learning about different kinds of energy. There are a howl lot of different energy's like elastic and sound energy. There is also heat, motion, chemical and electrical energy. I hope we get to learn about more energy soon.

Zombies

 Today we were learning about adaptation. I enjoyed thinking of the food and water supplies.

I found it hard when we had to update our supplies in the story.

I think that something like this would be good for hallow-ween. 

My beatitudes poster

 Today we were learning to talk about characters perspectives. 

My digital learning object shows my poster of one of the beatitudes from Matthew 5:1-12 in te reo and english. I enjoyed choosing the animal. I found nothing hard. I hope we do this agian.

Court.

 Today we were doing a play type thing. I enjoyed making the slides and playing reds mum.

I found nothing hard and want to do this again.

The escape room.

 Today we did a escape room. I enjoyed seeing what animals were behind each door.I found some of the questions hard but most of them I could answer. I hope that Kylah makes another escape room because they are so amazing.

Cats VS Dogs.

 Today we were learning about why cats or dogs are better than each other. I enjoyed making the debate and typing why I thought cats are better than dogs. I would like to do this again. 

Times tables

 Today we were doing maths. I found nothing hard and was really happy I got to practice my times tables.I hope we get to do this another time.

Pen pals

 Today we were learning about pen pals. I enjoyed typing this this letter.I found nothing hard. I hope we get to make another pen pal letter. 

Paralympics.

 Today we were learning about the paralympics. I enjoyed learning about how the paralympics first started and all the amazing paralympians that are participating. I hope we get to learn about the paralympics again.

 Today I was learning about cicadas. I enjoyed making the fact slide. It found nothing hard .

I am very happy that I chose a cicada.

 Today we were learning about food chains. I enjoyed getting the animals from a to b.

I found it hard when we had to get the right animals. I hope we get to make another 

animal animation.

 Today we were learning about science. I enjoyed making the experiment and putting all the ingredients in.

I found nothing hard and enjoyed this experiment very much and hope we get to do another 

one throughout lockdown.

Jesus

Today we were learning about the gospel and Jesus. i enjoyed choosing the words and choosing the colour of the words. 

I found nothing hard because I had done this before.

I'm very happy that we got to do this again.

 

Maui

 Today we were learning about Maui I chose to do the jawbone he gets from his 

grandfather. I enjoyed using polyline and shapes to make this picture on google 

drawing's. I found it hard using polyline because it was really hard not to make

eny mastaces. I enjoyed learning about Maui  and would like to learn a bit more about him.

facts about cats

 Today we were learning how to apply knowledge. We could choose what animal we would do from the google slides that mrsA made. I found nothing hard and was very happy that cats were one of the animals. I hope we get to make another slide about animal facts because it was really fun.

Today we were learning about the assumption of mary. I enjoyed making the word cloud.

I found it hard when we had to chose the words but in the end I found the right ones.

I have done something like this before on a sound the ea sound it was really fun so this was really

fun.

bees

today we were learning about bees.  I enjoyed finding  out abot intresting facts

I found hard trying to find the right facts I can't wait to right about bees again.   

olympic facts

 Today we were learning about the olympics we had to type about it 

and share information. I enjoyed learning about the olympics.

I found putting down the certain facts was a bit hard because we had 

so meany. Learning about the olympics has definitely made 

me a lot more keen on sports. 

geometry

Today we were learning about geometry. 

We had to do one of the things you do in

the olympics. I chose gymnastics.

We had to use shapes and make a person doing a 

certain category. My person has 17 sides, 17 corners and 22 

faces. I found it hard when we had to make the people out

of shapes. It was fun choosing what category they were doing 

I think that geometry is really fun I can't wait to do it again. 

looking for earthlings

 Today we were learning about plays. My group did a alien play 

this is  the first play that I have done and published. I enjoyed practicing my play I hope you enjoy   

 This week we where learning about rockets we tried different kinds of technique's. My favourite technique was the stomp rocket. I think that this has been one of my  favourite science experiments.

matariki poem

Today we were learning how to make a diamante poem. I enjoyed adding the similes and making the poem about kites. I found hard shaping the poem into the diamond shape. I think that if we do another diamante poem I will make it about dancing.

Today I was learning how to do paragraphs. I enjoyed typing on my computer and making a paragraph.

It was hard finding good places for my key words and I think that it's going to be the best when we do it again. 

Matariki

 

Today we made a summary on three texts that we read. It was hard when we had to do the authors purpose. I enjoyed typing about matariki I think that maybe it will be easier

This week my group was learning about circuits and how people navigated threw the stars. I enjoyed reading about the stars and making my summary. It was hard when we had to wright the summary but in the end it was easy. It was really fun and i will be very good at it when we do it again.

 

Today we were learning how to use cause and effect. I chose to wright about solar power 

because it is a very interesting subject. I didn't find anything hard because it was writing and writing is easy. I enjoyed typing on my computer and found it was really good practice for me for me to get faster at typing.

  

My summary of the future

 

Today we were learning about the future I made a summary but before we had to make our summary we had to type what we thought would be good in the future. I did not find anything challenging It was really fun to type and I found out that some people mite have actually time traveled I am very excited about doing this again and I will be a lot better.     

My future car!!

 

        Today we were learning about non renewable and renewable 

            fossil fuels. I enjoyed making the car I didn't find anything

                 hard and I think that I would like to do this again.

My Jesus drawing!

 

 

Today we were talking about how jesus went up to heaven and how he told the disciples 

that he will be with them to the end of time. It was hard finding the right shapes for 

Jesus's body and the background. I enjoyed finding the reading and command c'ing and

command v'ing it. I am very happy that I made this google drawing with no pictures from the internet.

I can't wait until the next time we make a google drawing but I hope it's easier next time!.      

my amazing birthday

Today I was learning to make a quality piece of writing it was fun writing about my holiday I can't wait until I do it again. 

the google quiz

Today we made a google quiz. It was fun making the wrong answers 

I enjoyed making the google quiz because we got to.make it about school

and a funny principal. It wasn't really hard or tricky because we had a video with the instructions 

with  our lovely teacher telling us them. It was really fantastic and fun so I am really excited for the next

time we do a google quiz !    

Wind chime building

 

Today we made wind chimes it was hard tying the nylon onto the wood and threw the cans

but in the end we worked it out. I can't believe that I mad a real wind chime it was so fun and soon enough someone is going to see me Arya and Rosa's wind chime and listen to the sound of it and think what a peaceful sound. I am so excited to make another wind chime and I wonder what materials we will use next time?    

Today we made a quiz about space. It was fun putting down the questions and putting down the right answers for the questions. I found it hard to remember all the instructions. Making the quiz was amazing I can't wait to make another quiz.

Today we planted some native trees that had been donated to our school.

 I planted some trees at the bottom of our Rerenga Awa and the top.

When we  walked slowly down to the  bottom I found a hole but it was filled 

with rocks and stones so I had to use the shovel and get it out.

It was so hard I had to ask the teacher to help me.

Then me and Arya got our plant and massaged it around the bottom. When we got it out I looked at the bottom and I saw that it was curled around it so I had to massage it again!

Finally we Planted it it was very calming so I guess I would like to do it again. 

Easter animation with a funny scene.

 

This is my Easter animation I enjoyed command d,ing it and moving the Easter egg from side to side.The only hard thing was was choosing what to catch my Easter egg . I love making animation's and found it easier to do it because I had done it before on my Horouta animation.But this one is different because it  is not about the Horouta waka I hope you like it.

My learning goal

   

On thursday we were learning how to set our goals for the year.I enjoyed  typing my goals for the year.It was great learning how to set goals I can't wait for the next goal that we can do.

I'm looking forward to Easter and Christmas also having our school Christmas Concert.My challenges for this year areGetting my punctuation right.My goals this year Are Being more like Jesus And The love of god.

I am really excited for my birthday and flying up to Auckland by myself Also I'm looking Forward to Learning how to be Cybersmart .My achievements have been getting really good at gymnastics and also at dancing.I am inspired by my dance teachers And also My mum Because she is very kind and she is really good at cooking.
